How do I handle TM30 reporting and check-ins while traveling around Thailand on a Dtv visa?

I have a Dtv visa and been living in TH for the last year on a yearly rental contract in 1 place. So, 90 day reports are easy to deal with.

Question:

Now I am going through TH by bicycle, staying alway's at different guesthouses/hotels/places along my way.

- How to do the tm30 and when? ( I hear the times to do are changed)

-Do I need to check-in at emigration where I continue to cycle AFTER a border run and give the 'place of stay' to them before I continue again? ( this was needed in Kanchanaburi based on a year- house contract)

- Did I forget anything what's important?

Thanks

The TM30 should be done by the place you stay. Every time you change hotel a new one should be filed by the owner

yes, but my problem is- when it comes up to the 90 day's. What to do? Do I myself go in the emigration and file the tm30? Or does it work different with hotels?

I asume, I don't have to list all the hotels that I stayed, correct?

you mean - every time I check-in a hotel and leave, I need to do a tm30? That means in a 90 day period, I will have at least 40 hotels. Is this correct?

Or I use the last hotel only and go with that tm30 to the emigration?

unless your not going to extend your visa , in the case you might have 0 to worry about , if your going to extend a month you have to worry about it

this is indeed the law, it needs to be done, but it's the hotel that does it, and they typically only look at the last report for a 90 day report. He's on a DTV so it would be a 180 day extension but very unlikely he can do that anyway.

I wouldn't worry about the TM30 unless you need something from immigration. It's not your responsibility anyway, it's the landlord. You just need it done before your 90 day and most hotels/guesthouses will do it without you asking. You can ask and confirm. Although I don't recommend it, and I would try to do them, if you are never doing an extension it is unlikely you would face any consequences for missing a 90 day report anyway, they don't care about it on exit or entry, only if you need to deal with immigration in country. I prefer to follow all regulations regardless but just pointing out. Worst case if it did come up it's a 2,000B fine, which never increases.

stay at a hotel, ask them for a copy of the TM30 receipt and take it with you to the immigration office that serves that area and file your 90 day report

that is helpfull. Thank you.

Any idea what to do when I arrive and start cycling after a visa run again?

I asume that I don't need to file something or give my whereabouts, from the moment my new cycle of 90 day's start again, correct?

the owners dont do it and if you let them get fined it is there fine but extended your visa with tm30 valid the whole time is the issue
