Mixed messages about health certificates and visas. No suggestion of any effect on visa runs?

Coming up to one.

Answer summary

There are mixed messages regarding the need for health certificates in connection with visas in Thailand. While some travelers report that visa runs and border crossings seem to be functioning without significant issues, there are uncertainties about new requirements for applying for different types of visas. The situation remains fluid, especially when comparing with strict measures observed in countries like Vietnam.

Vietnam has been very strict, even if you've been in the country for years, if you leave you're not coming back in.

Thailand I've seen it both ways. Visa runs, border crossings seem to be fine. If you need to apply for a Visa though, idk.
