My tourist visa 60 days stamp is finished yesterday (29 April), as we all know there is amnesty for visa in Thailand at this moment so i didn't went to immigration assuming that im covered from this amnesty law, but today watching this video i got little bit scared that even with visa amnesty people will be forced to pay overstay, i never believe in this thought until i saw this video from Harald how they fined him for overstay on the airport but he will have to pay next time he enter Sri Lanka. Yes luckily this is not Thailand and i hope this will not happen in Thailand after the epidemic is finished. What are your thoughts, they can do this in Sri Lanka?

He explains it after 17:35 min in the video:

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the concerns regarding overstay fees in Thailand amid the ongoing visa amnesty due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The original poster feared potential fees for overstaying their tourist visa, referencing a video about Sri Lanka's immigration policies. Comments from others provide reassurance that there is currently no overstay payment required until July 31, per government approval, but emphasize the importance of checking local immigration office responses, as experiences can vary by province. Additionally, there is confusion about the consequences of overstaying in Thailand compared to other countries, with voices mentioning that while some nations may impose additional fees, Thailand has implemented leniencies during this period.

An agency that helping about visas in Thailand just told me today that cannot be accepted any application in the future if i stay more then 90 days without stamp (even with the amnesty), they will block me from coming in thailand for years.. Im not sure if this is true or the agency just trying to scare people so they get money for helping about visas...

My dad is in Philippines

His visa ran out April 11th

There is no penalty for overstay there too.

But.......you still have to pay for the visa to be up to date before departure, either at airport or immigration.
