What are the entry rules and extension options after a border run to Huay Xai with a visa exemption passport in Thailand?

Hi everyone .. need some info on my coming border run to lao Huay xai.. how many days will I get after I get back from Huay xai border am using a visa exemption country passport? And after I get my new stamp after enter back to thai from huay xai can I get another 30 days extension ? Thanks in advance ..
