Doing a border run to Laos and back 2 days later. Any problem paying Laos entry in Baht? And what is the cost to return to Thailand? Is the return automatically good for 30 more days ? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can pay for your Laos entry visa in Thai Baht, though it is cheaper in USD. When returning to Thailand from Laos, you can enter without a visa (visa exempt) as long as you haven't already used this option twice in the current calendar year. If your entry stamp from Laos is clear, you should not have any trouble re-entering Thailand, and you'll typically receive another 30 days of stay upon re-entry.
Brandon is correct. One tip from me when you get your exit stamp from Laos..make sure it is clear and readable. I nearly got sent back to Laos! Talked my way through it and after several offices looked at it I was let back in.
The Laos visa is cheaper in crisp USD but you can pay in baht as well.
You can enter Thailand without visa (visa exempt) at a land border 2 times per calendar year. As long as you have not already entered 2 times in 2024 at a land border, then you won't need anything but your passport.
