I am moving to Thailand in June and looking for health insurance. I-Brokers were the only outfit that replied with quotes.

Does anyone have a recommendation between

IMG

April international

Allianz Ayudhya

HCI

Cigna

Optimum

Allianz is Thailand only and probably all we need

Any comments will be appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat moving to Thailand is seeking recommendations for health insurance providers, with options including IMG, April International, Allianz Ayudhya, HCI, Cigna, and Optimum. Specific comments address experiences with these companies, concerns for seniors over 70, and suggestions for comparison tools. Allianz is noted for focusing primarily on Thailand, which may fit the needs of the asker. Additionally, several users provided insights about premium costs and coverage limitations, especially for older individuals.

I’m gonna be 66 in June. Sounds like 70 and you’re toast. Do you have to leave Thailand if you can’t get coverage?

I was quoted annual premium of 150k . Crazy prices for insurance ! Maybe my age ?

I can put the money to better use like.

Rather return to home for my medical needs

If you are over 70 forget it. Exorbitant prices if they will cover you at all.
