Hi there, does anyone know what’s the most recent requirement needed for non imm o Thai spouse extension? For Kor ror 2 can I use the old one or must I get an updated one? And for those who just did their extensions, is the queue now still very long at CW? Thank you so much in advance! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The most recent requirements for a NON-O Thai spouse extension include providing relevant documentation such as passport copies, your spouse's Thai ID details, proof of residence, and photos together at your residence. As for the Kor Ror 2 document, it is recommended to obtain a new one from any Amphur, as many offices require it to be no older than a year, though experiences vary. The queuing situation at Chaengwattana can be unpredictable, with suggestions to avoid busy days like Mondays and Fridays.

Okay, people as easy (and cheap, just 20 baht) as it is to get a new Kor Ror 2 from ANY Amphur in Thailand by just walking in with the marriage certificate, your thai wife and asking for one I can't see any reason to debate on whether you need a new one or not .

We are done

Got mine last week at CW. Arrived 8.30am on Wednesday, left the building at 10am. A new KR2 was not required.

as far as what's required

If you're a foreign female with a thai husband, you don't have proof of funds (you MIGHT have to show his income/pay stubs)

+data page, visa sticker, previous extensions, entry stamp, current extension, TM6

-husbands thai i/d card and house book listing

-hand drawn map to your house

-photos of you two standing in front of your address numbers

-photos of you two sitting on the couch or at the table

-Kor Ror 3 & updated Kor Ror 2

-TM30 receipt

-lease

filled out TM7 application for extension 1900baht

, also the pictures can't be the same ones as last year :O AND you and your thai spouse cannot do pointers at your address numbers. A good friend of mine took a pick of him and his thai wife pointing at the address numbers and they got sent back home to take NEW pictures without them pointing :O

there could be more things required I just listed what I remembered. Your best bet is to go out to C/W and get the handout from Section L listing the requirements for a yearly extension based on marriage

You will need a new KR2 from the amphur. Although it sounds like a cop-out answer, I would advise getting in touch with your Immigration office to see what their requirements are as they all differ quite a bit.

The queuing at Chaengwattana is too hit or miss to predict. No one can tell you how many people will be in Section L when you get there. It's gonna take as long as it takes. I'd avoid Mondays/Fridays and any week that has a holiday in it when the immigration office is closed

I had messaged you the answers but will allow your post

Most offices are requiring the Kor Ror 2 be no older than a year. SOME require a new one every time. Face it, just go to the Amphur, pay the 20 baht and have them print you a new one
