I have read that some IO want a updated Kor 2 when applying for 1 year extension on your non o visa based on marriage, if this is the case does this document also need to be translated in to English.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a one-year extension on a non-O visa based on marriage, some Immigration Offices (IO) might request an updated Kor 2 document. However, it has been clarified that while some offices require this document, it does not need to be translated into English. Different locations may have varying requirements; for example, Chiang Mai may accept the original Kor 2 document without the need for an update if one was previously issued.

Not sure where you will be applying but in Chiang Mai an updated one is not required as long as it is still an original. When we got married they gave us about half a dozen "originals" and I use one every year. I have heard other offices want you to get a new one every year though.

Correct they require it, and no it doesn’t need to be in English, in Cha-am they charge 20 baht for it.
