Hi everyone. Just wanted to check what all documents are needed for NON O visa extension.

Me and my wife are Indian national. She is working here in Thailand for past few years. She holds NON-b visa and I am here on (non-O, dependent visa) from home country. As my visa is about to expire, I need to extend it here. If anybody is aware of what all documents are needed, please let us know.

Thanks in advance !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the documents required for extending a NON-O visa as a dependent spouse in Thailand. A commenter explained that an extension is possible due to the marriage to a person who works legally in Thailand. Suggested documents include a translated and certified marriage certificate, copies of the working spouse's passport, and a letter from the wife's employer approving the extension. It's recommended to visit the immigration office in Chaengwattana for specific requirements before the visa expires.

You are getting what's called a "piggy-back" extension meaning you are married to someone who legally works here and getting an extension based on that.

I don't know the exact requirements but I'm sure they include the marriage certificate (translated into thai and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) your wife's passport copies, a letter from her company stating it's okay for you to piggy back on her extension, etc.

I'd go out to Chaengwattana before your current Non-O expires and a see if they have a hand out as far as the requirements.

In bangkok you can apply for a yearly extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp.

Good Luck (y) sorry I couldn't be more specific :/
