Not to mention, that their imagination is endless and they can easily point which documents you should have. If you rent a condo then you should have contract, owner's ID copy, government proof that he/she is the owner of the condo, your TM.30 copy and printed map or the area with street name visible (some officers request hand-drawn map, but I always have printed from Google Maps)

Yes, no comparing with originals also surprised me recently. And the fact, that they have copying machines and do copies by themselves if 1-2 pages only are needed (happened in TM.30 section and L section).

That's OK. Officer checked your last year application then just proceed with copies. The longer story you have in IMM database, the easier process will be.

Well, I did it for 5th time. 1st of course was crazy, but 2nd till 4th I expected to be waaay easier than it was. So, two weeks ago I was really surprised. However, after 5 years I should be able to do it online 🤣🤣

1st time everyone visit IMM several times. Online yes, but there is a reason it can’t be done online because of form your wife must to sign.

That's great that it worked out so well for you. AND it shows, if you're prepared, it can be a smooth process.
