I would like to share my experience for those who are currently waiting for their DTV Soft Power Muay Thai visa or preparing their application.

📅 May 10: Visa fee paid and application submitted.

📅 May 11: Received a request for additional documents from the embassy.

The following documents were requested: • A letter explaining my plans and what I intend to do during the 5 years covered by the DTV visa in Thailand. • Proof of payment for my Muay Thai courses made from my own bank account. • Proof of accommodation. • Proof of round-trip flight tickets.

📅 May 11: After submitting the requested documents, my application status changed to "Pending Approval."

📅 June 7: Visa approved on Sunday, June 7 at 8:50 PM.

⏳ Total processing time: From May 10 to June 7, approximately 4 weeks from payment and submission to final approval.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

fast and easy, why do people ask for people in thailand to help them doing it then ? if it's that easier to do it by yourself ? (im gonna do one for next year)

Vast majority of people get the DTV by themselves. Some need help with documentation for a variety of reasons so an agent can help. There are some who think using an agent will guarantee approval which is not the case.
