TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about applying for a Non-O IMM multiple visa based on their marriage to a Thai national and whether any application processes have changed due to COVID-19. They are also seeking information about the necessary forms and the visa processing time at Chang Wattana. In the comments, it is clarified that the actual multiple entry Non-O visa cannot be obtained inside Thailand, and the required documents have not changed recently.

If you mean "actual" multiple entry Non-O visa itself, not 1 year extension with re-entry permit, it is not available inside Thailand.

From your past posts, it looks like you were on a one year extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national with a multiple entry re-entry permit.

To my knowledge, the documents have not been changed.

Isn't it 45days at CW (while 30days at the most immigration office) that how many days in advance of your expiry you can apply for a new extension? Or applying for an extension based on being married to a Thai national is on a different rule?

ok. I will check if I can do it as I will be in Bahrain then.

When will you return from Bahrain? You can not get an extension of stay while you're overseas, you can only get an extension of stay in Thailand.

While you're overseas you *MAY* be able to get another Non-O visa based on marriage, and then get another extension of stay when you return to Thailand.

I will return may 5 but then quarantine for 10 days.

So my best option is to get another non o visa in Bahrain.

NO your best option might NOT be to get a new Non-O in Bahrain. IF you meet the requirements to get a new year extension iside the country come back, quarantine and as long as you apply for a new yearly extension before this one runs out you're fine. I think you are confused in thinking you have to do it so many days before. The rule is you CAN do it when you have 45 days or less (in bangkok) not that you have to. So in your case with an extension expiring on July 21 you can apply for a new extension ANY TIME AFTER the 6th of June right on up until the day your current stamp expires.

what we’re all the requirements again I forgot sorry.

I do have the well seasoned 400,000 baht.

I just forgot about the paperwork needed.

I see a trip to your immigration office with your thai wife to get the list of current requirements. It is too office specific..

thanks for your information.

How long does it take to recieve the new extension ?

As after quarantine I would only have 30 days in Thailand then have to leave again.

@Tra***
well, if you're going to bounce in and out regularly like that, it'd be better off to do what you suggest and get a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage in where ever it is you're going to go to.

The way it works is you apply for a year extension, you turn in your documentation, pay 1900baht, get a 30 day under consideration stamp and then go back in a month to get the year extension inked in.

I don't know if you'd have time to get out of quarantine, get the documents together and then apply and have the 30 day stamp run out before you leave again.

FYI, you can apply for a new extension any day in the window between 45days before and the last day of your current stamp (July
*******
in your case). This doesn't mean you have to apply for an extension 45day before.
