I currently have a non B visa which I will be changing to a non O marriage visa. The Immigration website list the requirements for the application. I have been unable to get a satisfactory explanation of “any other documents that may be required”. Can anyone shed some light on what may be required. I and my wife went to ChangWattana but received very little help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is transitioning from a Non B visa to a Non O marriage visa and is seeking clarity on the unspecified requirements listed on the Immigration website. Past commenters have suggested that 'any other documents that may be required' likely means that additional information might be requested by the immigration officer on the day of application. There is also a clarification about the possibility of changing a Non B visa to a Non O visa from inside the country, which might not be allowed unless it is an extension of stay with a different purpose.

okay
@Den***
, just so you're clear, what you aren't gonna be able to do is change a Non-B VISA to a Non-O VISA inside the country.

Now if it's just a case of you using wrong terminology and you're really on an EXTENSION OF STAY from a non-B visa and are simply changing the reason for the extension from employment to another reason, you CAN and will be able to do that.

You'll cancel your current extension and immediately apply for the new extension by meeting the requirements needed to get an extension base on marriage.

it just means the particular officer that particular day may require additional information because they are not satisfied with what you brought. I don't think it's something you should worry about if all your other papers are legit and in order.

I think that only means that once you turn in your documents, they may request additional documents.

But i may be wrong.😁

that is the problem. I don’t want to be going up and down with additional documents which could have bee obtained at the beginning.
