Hey everyone. Is the consulate in Savannakhet accepting Non-O Multi Entry visas based on marriage again?

I was on one pre-covid. Thinking of maybe switching back to one.

Anyone know if the requirements and docs to get it have changed much since 2019? :)

Thanks :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, the Savannakhet consulate is currently issuing Non-O multi-entry visas based on marriage to a Thai citizen, with the same requirements as pre-COVID. There are no proof of funds required, and it appears the process hasn't changed much since 2019. However, it is advised to check the latest updates and requirements from the embassy directly.

Asking for a friend who is considering getting this multiple entry visa…. If it’s multiple entry, you still need to leave the country every 90 days, correct? And not just do 90 day check ins? He said he “heard” Non-o M no longer need to leave the country every 90 days.

your friend heard wrong. A year long, multi-entry Non-immigrant O visa is valid for a year <- that means you can exit/re-enter all your want for the whole year BUT every entry is good for 90 days only.

So when that first 90 days is up you either apply for a year extension at the immigration office OR you bounce out and back in to the country to get a new 90 day entry stamp and you do this for the validity of the visa (a year from the date it was issued)

Yep, Savannakhet is open and issuing year long, multi-entry Non-O visas based on marriage to a thai without proof of funds.

Same exact requirements as they were pre-covid
