Take your thai wife and go to your immigration office to get the hand out listing the requirements to apply for a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai, (so that you know what to prepare, etc), then get everything ready, take the letter from your employer to cancel your current extension and apply for the married one

if you need to buy time in order to season 400,000 THB in the bank for two months for applying to the Non-Imm-O based on marriage to a Thai, then get the 60-days family visit extension. You can use but only one time per entry stamp. From thiis extension you are allowed to go for the extension of stay based on thai wife. From the covid19-extension you cannot

Why not just cancel the current extension based on employment and immediately apply for a new yearly extension based on marriage at the same time?

What's the reason you wanna get a 60 day covid extension ?

and if you're married to a thai and already meet the financial requirements all you need to do is CHANGE THE REASON for your extension to one based on employment to one based on marriage to a thai. It's done at the same time, you cancel one and apply for the other. You don't need a Non-O VISA, you just want to change the reason for your extension from one based on employment to one based on marriage.

you get a letter from your employer stating you're stopping work on xx date, you take that AND all the documentation needed to apply for the year marriage extension to the immigration office, cancel your current extension of stay and then immediately apply for a NEW yearly extension based on marriage. You'll pay 1900baht and get a 30 day under consideration stamp then go back after that 30 days and get the year extension inked in.
