Hello everyone, my Non-O (Spouse) visa is expiring soon. Has anyone been to Thai consulate in Penang Malaysia to do it since it's  now post covid? Are the requirements there still the same as before Covid?

there is no knowledge of new requirements for visa application.

You might want to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office in stead of traveling to Penang for a new 90 day stay.

I think there are few people who have used Penang since the border's have re-opened.

I'd post on a group related to the southern islands or the south of thailand and ask there

About all I can say concerning nearby thai consulates is that the consulate in Savannakhet Lao is still issuing year long, multi-entry Non-O's based on marriage to a thai like they were pre-covid

I know that's not penang sorry

there is NO proof of funds in Savannakhet at all required for either the 90 day single entry or the year long multi-entry Non-O based on marriage
