The tourist visa will get you 60 days on arrival plus added 30 day extension at Thai immigration for 1,900 Thai baht in = 90 days in Thailand... Then either leave or look at visa options at that time.

It's way too early to predict what will be happening in November and early 2022 with the COVID situation.
