What are the best options for applying for a DTV visa from Thailand if I can't provide 3 months of bank statements?

Hello to everyone. I hope you can recommend me to find the best option for me in my situation. Thank you very much in advance...

I'm currently in Thailand and planning to leave the country in order to apply for the DTV visa. I'm self-employed in Spain and can show a bank account with regular income and a high current balance.

However, I see that the application might require bank statements from the past 3 months, and that's a problem for me, because in May I made a large investment in Spain that temporarily reduced my funds (I wasn’t planning to be applying for the DTV visa at that time).

Is there any country where they only will check the current balance and not the last 3 months? Or do I have no other option but to wait until 3 full months have passed?

I'm flying to Japan in 2 weeks, but I don't think it's the best place to apply.

Would it be better to go to Laos, Vietnam, or Malaysia, etc after Japan, before returning to Thailand (ideally already with my DTV)?

Thanks so much for your time and help!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on applying for a DTV visa while facing issues with showing the required bank statements due to a recent large investment in Spain. They inquire about countries where only the current bank balance is considered without requiring statements from the last three months. Suggestions made by commenters include using agents, and considering situations in countries like Laos, Malaysia, Japan, and several Southeast Asian embassies that might have more lenient requirements.

Lots of embassies don’t require seasoning just a final balance of 500 K Thb. A search may help you find those that suit you

Laos requires 3 months seasoning. Malaysia infamous for being strictest for DTV approval 6mths of booked accommodation, 3-6 months seasoning needed. Japan is very demanding as well, as a resident of Tokyo I chose to go nearby to Taipei to get the DTV. Tokyo embassy seems to be issuing METVs for DTV applicants. Fukuoka and Osaka are easier than Tokyo. Vietnam, Jakarta, Manilla are friendly SEA embassies and have approved with just the final balance of 500k THB.

Andi. Thank you very much for your valuable message. You've been very kind. I'll keep it in mind. I'm going to fly to one of these last three. Maybe Manila, because I haven't been there yet πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Some say Hanoi is better, quicker to approve.

You can go through an agent and pay their eye popping rates to show you have the correct monetary funds seasoned for the right amount of time

There is no leeway when it comes to the application and the money seasoned in the bank acct

Good luck
