Can anyone who’s done the freelance workcation DTV process themselves help/ direct message me?

1. For the ฿500,000 That is required to show on your bank statement does it have to be on your bank statements for multiple months or can you just read on one month?

1. Since Im currently in Thailand is it easier to go to Vietnam to apply and if so, Do I need to go to the embassy in Vietnam for any part of the DTV application process? which hotels did you all stay?

1. For DTV freelancers what important information with our portfolio or proof of work is essential to show in the application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion highlights the DTV visa application process for freelancers in Thailand, specifically regarding bank statement requirements, application submission locations (such as Vietnam), and essential information to include in your portfolio. Users have shared varied experiences, indicating that bank statements might need to show sufficient funds over a few months, depending on the embassy's requirements. Communication is often handled online, and an interview may not be necessary unless requested. It’s suggested to demonstrate employment with non-Thai firms clearly.

I applied in Hanoi 3 weeks ago, I submitted 6 months statements even though the required amount only shows on the last 3 months..per advice of the law firm helping us. All communication was done online..though,

mine went from "pending approval" to APPROVED in 5 working days..

1. Depends on the embassy you apply at, many have no seasoning requirement, others 3-6 months. 2. No visit required at embassy unless asked for an interview. Depending on where you stay in Vietnam will determine the embassy you apply from. Hanoi and HCMC cover different areas. 3. Key info will be showing you work online for non-Thai firm/clients, you work for a legit company, you have permission to work online in Thailand from employers.
