What is the best embassy to apply for a DTV visa in Thailand, considering the bank statement requirements?
Hello,
I am currently in Thailand on tourist visa, my plan was to leave Thailand in mid october to go somewhere around to apply for the DTV visa
I just realised by reading posts from this group that I might need to show multiple months of bank statement of 500k but as of last week my bank account was close to 0$ .. since last week i started slowly selling some investment (3k CAD per day) to being my bank account close to 600k by next week.
My question is which is the best embassy for a smooth process in my case ?

For Indonesia embassy, does it need to have the transfer not added some days before? And activities on the account?

As long as you have savings of required amount, and can prove you've been earning, you'll be fine. I did similar through Madrid, I had to provide 3 months of bank statements, and my savings was separate. I was approved within 12 days

This is not to be worry. I only deposited most of the cash a few days before i requested the statement. It’s ok as long as you have minimum 500k on the day your statement is printed.

I've only read and heard that you need 1 month of bank statements but that is for Europe/USA/Canada. Not sure about other countries. Following...

I don’t know first hand yet in other groups people have applied with the funds in the bank for 1 month and getting denied. Losing their 10,000 Baht.
It seems to depend on the Thai person that reviews it but i haven’t found anyone saying they were denied with more than 2 months in the bank tho.

not our experience we have done over 20 ( own a muay thai gym) and the only one to decline was pp. But circumstances may be involved etcCustomer got it from HCM with exact same paperwork
