I was in Thailand until early March. I want to go back this November. How do I go about getting a 2 or 3 month visa if I live nowhere near an embassy or consulate? PS, my plan is to stay 4-6 months.

Thank you in advance for your kind response(s).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on obtaining a 2 or 3 month visa to Thailand, mentioning they lived in Thailand until early March and plan to return in November for 4-6 months. Suggestions from the community include finding a nearby embassy or consulate, mailing the visa application to the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles (especially since the user is based in Phoenix), and applying for a 6-month METV for extended stays. Other visa options such as the O-A retirement visa are also discussed.

If you are able to fly from the US to spend time in Thailand, you should be able to find a way to a Thai Embassy or Consulate in the US to apply for a new visa. Good Luck.

What nations passport do you carry? Where will you be when you want to apply for the visa?

and when you are retired...get the O-A multientry one year retirement visa from Los Angeles too. You will be happy you did 😄

Daniel Manriquez-Quintana mail your application to the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles before you leave the USA.

I suggest you try to obtain 6 month METV Multi entry tourist visa. Good for up to 9 months in Thailand with good planning.
