Namaste! Thank you for your help in advance.

Im Argentinian and i get a 90 days permiss on arrival. I am studying yoga.

I enter thailand 8 th of July and went out by land and get 3 more months; then i went out by land and come back by air and get again three more months...now i have time until 28 of March...but i need to stay until 29 of April to finish my yoga teacher training.

Which are my options?

I was thinking in going out by the end of january and enter again so i will have time until the end of April. ( By plane to Laos? By land to Penang?)

Or its better to wait until 28 of march and ask for 30 more days in inmigration ofice ( i dont know if i can do it!).

Both times i went to Malaysia.

Thank you ♡

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, an Argentinian studying yoga, is currently in Thailand with a 90-day visa exemption and is seeking advice on how to extend their stay until the end of April to complete their training. They are considering exiting and re-entering Thailand to obtain additional time or applying for a 30-day extension at an immigration office. Comments suggest that those with a 90-day entry stamp can only receive a 7-day extension due to bilateral agreements and that early extensions at immigration offices may add days to the current stamp.

So they really pay attention into the dates and the amount of times you have entered the country? I have the same same problem as my friend carla but i m coming back to KP in a week. I m actually considering student visa or work permit, depending on the amounts of money...

the problem is not an easy airport in another country the problem is that you enter Thailand under visa exempt, the fourth in a row, if I would be IO I would grill you, you might consider applying for a tourist visa at an easy consulate and come in on that 60day Tourist Visa.

Fly out and back in to get another 90 days.

with a 90 day entry stamp you can get only 7 day extension, this is due the bilateral agreement.

If you go to an immigration office for an extension early, they add the days on top of your stamp. I think you should try that.

Ah ok!

yeah those 5 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru & South Korea) that get 90 day visa exempt entries can't get 30 day extensions :/
