Can I apply for a DTV visa (soft power) when I enroll in a yoga teacher training in Thailand? Has anybody done this route? Or is it exclusively for muay thai, cooking classes, and medical treatments only?
Hello, I have a Cypriot passport and planning to visit Thailand for a Yoga Teaching Training course in September that lasts 27 days, and i'm interested in staying for a few more days to explore Thailand. I would appreciate if you could please advise on the below:
1. Which type of Visa i should apply; Tourist Visa or Non Immigrant or other.
2. Also, I have read on some websites that in order to enter Thailand, i need to present a flight ticket to another country on the 15th day of my visit. Kindly advise if i need to interrupt the course and leave the country in order to re-enter and if a flight ticket needs to be prebooked.
3. In order to apply for a Visa do i need to have both entry and exit flight tickets booked?
4. Can i apply for a 60 day Visa directly or 30 day and then request an extension?
I am looking in to getting an ED non-immigrant visa for me and my husband. I am a US citizen and my husband is from the UK, with a US permanent residence. Our intention is to study yoga while in Thailand. We are taking a month long yoga teacher training course, then plan to bop around to other ashrams, studios, and retreats. Our School ( for the one-month yoga teacher training) is willing to write a recommendation letter to the Thai Consultant, but they do not know what to include in their letter. If anyone could please give guidance, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Im Argentinian and i get a 90 days permiss on arrival. I am studying yoga.
I enter thailand 8 th of July and went out by land and get 3 more months; then i went out by land and come back by air and get again three more months...now i have time until 28 of March...but i need to stay until 29 of April to finish my yoga teacher training.
Which are my options?
I was thinking in going out by the end of january and enter again so i will have time until the end of April. ( By plane to Laos? By land to Penang?)
Or its better to wait until 28 of march and ask for 30 more days in inmigration ofice ( i dont know if i can do it!).
