How long is my stay allowed with a Non-O visa issued recently in Thailand?
Query about date issuance
Hello,
I have a valid initial non O visa, before the 12 months extension, do I get 90 days from the day I enter Thailand? Or 90 days from my approval date.
As the visa tells me it is valid until 26th of August as it was issued yesterday, however I'm not sure if this means that this is the validity on the period of time I am allowed to enter the kingdom.

Answer summary
The question is about the validity and entry duration of a Non-O visa issued in Thailand. The reply clarifies that the visa is valid until August 26th, which is the last date to enter the country. Upon entry, regardless of the date, the person will receive a 90-day stamp, allowing them to stay for 90 days from the date of entry.

There are two things about a Visa that are completely different.
When is the validity of the Visa itself which in your case is until August 26th. You are correct that is how long of a time you have to enter the country and get stamped in on that Visa.
Once you do enter (even if it's the very last day the Visa is valid for) you would be stamped in for 90 days.
So get here on or by August 26th and you'll get stamped in for 90 days.
