TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs assistance with extending or renewing their education visa which expires on May 18th while currently in Bangkok. Previous comments suggest contacting border bounce agencies for advice on re-entry, caution against having volunteer visas due to their negative perception with immigration, and considerations for applying for a university study visa through an agency. Several comments also point to the need for awareness regarding the implications of past visa history, particularly with volunteer visas, and some suggest alternatives like obtaining a Non-B visa or changing passports, although there is skepticism about the effectiveness of these options.

10 days is probably not enough to get a new visa in Thailand so you will probably have to leave and come back on a tourist visa or visa exempt. If you have a volunteer visa in your passport it could be a problem getting back in as they know that 99% of these volunteer visas are fake and they are cracking down on people how had fake visas in the past.

Dont change passport inside Thailand.Still will be same stamp.Change in other country Laos Or Cambodia.Or apply in Bangkok and try to enter to Thailand from NongKhai with current passport. And wait your passport comes to Thailand. Then everything will be allright.

You can make visa education more at chaingmai more if you want
A new passport would be irrelevant. All previous entries/visas are logged in the immigration database.
Might work for a embassy approving a visa (as they don’t have access to entry history) but isn’t going to make a hoot of a difference entering Thailand.
Volunteer visas are now pretty toxic to have in your passport/entry(stay) history. You’d certainly need to try to contact an agent who might be able to help. I have no knowledge if they would or could.

You need to contact some border bounce agencies and see what they say about your ability to leave and re-enter the country. If the agencies refuse then you don't have a chance.
