Hello ! My DTV Visa got approved (in Brussels, Belgium after 1 month and 2 weeks, it was a reaaally long time but, hey, it's approved! 🥳). My questions here is: Do I have to keep the 15.000€ in my bank account (and cant go under it) until I am in Thailand? Or is this not a requirement when passing through immigration at the airport? Thank you !

It is meant to be hold in the bank for cases of emergency.

But as it is not written down in the law, feel free to find other ways to pay.

Giasai😉 you give bad advice! Just because you have never been asked does not mean nobody will be asked.

The money is for a reason. It should be for funds to support your stay in Thailand. If an IO does ask at entry and you don't have it available they can deny you entry.

It is not a mandatory requirement to have the 500k upon entry. Extending your stay at an immigration office requires evidence of the 500k in your bank.

Sometimes they do randomly scrutinize at airports. My girlfriend was pulled out of line, they called her Thai school etc, we had some minor issues and she almost got rejected because the school said "she didn't seem serious"

Yes, you could be questioned but there is no documented mandatory requirement to have the 500k upon arrival. Having 20k THB/equivalent currency in cash is a documented mandatory requirement.

Ideally the funds are to remain there in case of emergency while you are in Thailand. However (admin please correct me if I'm wrong) the funds requirement was for your DTV application which is now approved and so, your funds are for you to do as you please.
