How long does it take to get DTV visa approval, and can I contact someone to expedite the process?
How long does a DTV visa typically take to come through? I fly into Thailand 28th Feb and haven’t yet had an approval. And is there a number I can phone to speed up the process?
Answer summary
The processing time for a DTV visa varies significantly depending on the embassy and the applicant's nationality. Reports from various commenters suggest times range from as short as 1 day to as long as 3 months. It's recommended to check with the specific embassy where the application was submitted for accurate timelines. Direct contact via phone or email is suggested to inquire about the status of the application, but there is no universal number to call for expedited processing.

You booked a trip before having your DTV approved? What if you get called in for an interview on the 28th? 😂

I submitted mine on 28 Jan and received it 17 Feb. Go online to the embassy applied to and go to “contact “ and give them a call

To be honest I’m still stuck here in Cambodia 🇰🇭 and it’s been 42 days now… called them how many times . And gave all that’s been required from my end. It’s literally a joke at the end of the day it is what it is.

Yes. We emailed them to speed it up. Got a response right away, and approved 2 days after emailing them.

Between 48 hours and 3 months.
Search for your embassy in the group to see the latest reports from people who applied there.
