I would like to thank the moderators for all the information!
I just completed my first Non O Visa (trailing spouse) extension in Chiang Mai. I spoke with an officer a week before my appointment for the requirements (they do not have a checklist).
- Scheduled an online appointment 45 days before my visa expires. Immigration Office required a hard copy of the appointment email.
- I went to the booth at the tented area to review my paperwork
- I submitted the following documents:
1. Copy of my passport information page and visa page
2. Copy of my husband's passport information page and visa page
3. Copy of my TM 30
4. Copy of my translated marriage certificate legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs
5. Copy of my lease agreement
6. Immigration forms ( extension, penalty for overstaying)
7. Original passports
8. 1900 Baht
- I was then given a queue number and was asked to bring the forms inside the main building.
- Picture taken
The whole process took an hour and 45 minutes.
Thanks,
Lorela
