TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the required documentation for extending their Cambodian wife's three-month Non-O visa to a one-year extension while in Thailand. They mention already having a letter from the employer, wedding papers, work permit, and their passport. The conversation includes suggestions about confirming requirements with the Thai immigration office, the need for a specific letter from the company, and considerations regarding their wife's re-entry permit if traveling back from Cambodia.

I don't know if you will need to have the marriage certificate translated into thai and certified as accurate by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or not. That's why I suggest you go out and ask or have your company call and ask the requirements.

Sorry :/

, Now now, don't buy into the mindset from Cambodianz about Thaiz or Thaiz about Cambodianz,

It's neither here nor there in what you're doing. You meet the requirements and you'll get the extension, there is no special hoops to jump thru for cambodians only.

, I don't think your case is one where an agent is required. It's fairly straight forward getting an extension for a spouse of someone legally working here. AND they already have the 90 day Non-O too.

The letter from the company needs to state they know you are employed with them and it is okay for your wife to get an extension based on being married to someone legally working here.

Do not confuse the requirements needed to get a Non-O visa from a thai consulate with what is required out at Chaengwattana. You should go out there and get the sheet that lists the requirements.

Remember, if you are going to Cambodia before you get the yearly extension you would need a re-entry permit or when she stamps out of the country her current Non-O stamp will cancel and you'll be back to square one
