TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is about whether to leave Thailand on an Education visa or before a specific date. Comments suggest that it's important to cancel the current ED visa extension at the immigration office with paperwork from the school before leaving the country, as failing to do so might complicate future visa processes.

Keep in mind technically you are supposed to go to the immigration office with paperwork from your school and cancel your current ED visa extension BEFORE you leave the country,.

Failing to do that won't stop you from stamping out when you fly out BUT down the road not having done it could cause you a problem with the immigration office getting extensions on other visas.

correct you have until 11:59 on the 15th to stamp out of thailand or you're on overstay.

Now if you're flying out as a rule the immigration officers at the airport waive the 500 baht a day overstay fine if it's less than 24 hours. BUT if you're leaving the country by land you will pay the fine for every day

The 16th would be an overstay, correct?
