Can I cancel my Extension of Stay based on an ED visa at the airport when leaving Thailand?
Is it possible to cancel extension of stay based on ED visa at airport upon leaving the country? Or it has to be done in the immigration office that issued the exrension. I do have a letter from school.
Answer summary
It is generally required to cancel your Extension of Stay based on an ED visa at the immigration office where it was issued, not at the airport. Some users suggest that cancellations may be possible at land borders with proper documentation from your school, but airports typically do not provide this service.

You do this at the Immigration Office where you got this Extension of Stay.

Sometimes at the land borders IF you have the document from your school they'll cancel it and let you stamp out of the country but I have not heard of the airports doing it.

Not that I know of; you cancel an extension of stay at the immigration office where you got it with paperwork from your school
