Can I cancel my ED visa in Chiang Mai before my official study end date?

You can't have ANY gap 😮 you get the letter from the school saying when you stop studying and that date is the date the immigration office cancels your extension from. There is no stop studying but still be on the ED visa extension 😕 unless you can get the school to give you paperwork saying you stop when your extension runs out

you get a letter from your school stating you're going to stop studying on xx date, (usually the last day of your current extension which you say is April 22) and you go to the immigration office about 2 weeks before that date and they will cancel it and then stamp you in until the termination of study date on the school documentation.

There's no way to cancel it more than a couple 3 weeks early that I'm aware of.

Check with your school as they are the ones that give you the documentation and they'll know how early you can do it OR slog on over to the main immigration office in Chiang Mai and ask them, they'll know too
