Can I remain in Thailand while applying for a Non-B visa extension before it expires?

Dear All,

my Non B teaching visa will expire on 31st of this month. My current employer (govt school) wants to renew the contract.my question is, whether i have to leave the country on the mentioned date or there is ample amount of time to file the visa extension while remaining in thailand?

Joseph Michael Pedro III yah ! My work permit will also expire this month , which means i have to renew my work permit. I spoke with the employer and they have assured me that they will tske care of it . Since , its a new team they dont have much clue about duration and paperwork

i dont have a teaching licence,but on my first waver to teach.since its just english i dont think i need a relevant degree but in order to obtain a licence post my secobd waver i might require one.

10 work kg days is enough to get work permit if you already have teqchijg license and all if not you have to do non b again in india
