Should I ignore the automatic email reminder for my 90-day report after my Songkran trip, or do I need to submit it anyway?

Hi everyone

I did my latest 90 days report online (Mid-March) and travelled out Thailand for Songkran, came back on the 16th of April.

I received an automatic email reminder from immigration that my next report will be due mid-June.

It seems like my quick trip out of the Kingdom wasn’t in the system, not sure if I should ignore this email since I’m not nearing the 90 days yet or should I do it anyway?

(In hindsight, I may have forgotten to re-enter data on the tm30 website when I came back to bkk… but still believe I did I’m unsure)

thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received an automatic email from immigration regarding their next 90-day report due date but is unsure if it reflects their recent travel back into Thailand. Community comments clarify that the email does not account for recent re-entry and suggest that the user should calculate their next report date based on their latest entry into Thailand, which is 89 days from the entry date. It is also advised to submit a TM30 notification when re-entering the country, which may be necessary for future reporting.

I believe you need to file a TM30 EVERY TIME you re-enter the country.

Some immigration offices may require you to file a new TM30 even if you travel inside the country...depends on your immigration office.

Regardless of what the 90day report reminder email says, your 90day report will be due 89days after you arrive back in the country (the day you arrive counts as day 1).

If you are leaving the country before your 90day report is due, you do not need to file it.

When you return again and re-enter the country, you will need to file a new TM30, and your new 90day window will begin.

If you're still not clear on this, you may want to stop at your local immigration office and ask them for help. Good luck.

You will need a copy of your TM30 notification when you you do your 90 day report ( unless you are able to do it online) so if you didn’t submit when you came back to Bangkok you might want to go on the TM30 website and submit a new notification, download a copy and keep it ready to do your 90 day report when it becomes due.

I’ll be out of the country again at the beginning of July (before my actual 90 days is due, around mid-July) do I still need to report on TM30?

It sounds like you can do the TM30 when you return from your trip in July as you won’t need to do the 90 report on this visit.

As said, that's a system auto-email. Just ignore and add 90 days to your entry date for your next report.

That is an automated email that does not take into account your recent re-entry to the Kingdom. You will have to work out 89 days from your last entry to get the date your next report is due.
