Do I need to file my 90-day report online after re-entering Thailand if I received a reminder email?

ORIGINAL POSTER
Just received a reminder email for my 90 day report. Yet I left Bangkok and reentered a couple of weeks ago.

I know my next 90 days should be due 90 days from my last reentry but because I got an email do I have to do it online now to maintain currency in their system ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have re-entered Thailand, you do not need to worry about the reminder email you received for the 90-day report. The system is not linked to your travel history, so you should only count 90 days from your latest re-entry date. You should submit your report 89 days after that re-entry and also ensure your TM30 form is updated.

The system has no idea you left and returned. It's not linked to anything and just sends an email out at 90 days. You start counting again at day 1 when you return.
