Should I apply for a tourist visa to Thailand in advance or risk it upon arrival?
I am having an issue with applying for my tourist visa. Background…purchased ticket to Thailand back in February. It’s a multi city ticket and I am currently visiting family (military) in Germany. I am supposed to fly to Thailand 10July and fly out on the 6 Sept. The problem is that I am not very experienced with computers and can’t seem to get my visa paperwork right. Should I wait and take a chance when I get to Thailand to ask for more than 30 days or find someone who is willing to help me with the online application?

Visa in place?? Stay 58 days. Current 60 days but may change. 30 days extend 30 days. Issue is??

Just enter on a visa exempt wheather its 60 or 30 days. If its 60 that should cover your visit here to wonderful Thailand. If it's only 30 days it's very simple to extend at an Immigration office for another 30 days for 1900 baht.

Visa exempt will still be available 60 days when you arrive so no need apply visa

OPI’ve read where it goes into affect 15 days after they post in the Royal Gazette. As of now they haven’t but it’s looking like the end of this month or early June. I pray they hold off until the end of June or early July.

Whether you can come in without a visa will depend on what passport you hold. We also don't know if visa exempt will be 30 days or 60 days by then, but a 30 day extension will be available

If you are apply a tourist visa you need the entry date into Thailand the exit date within 60 days of the entry date and you upload the E -ticket
