Hello,

I am coming from land border from Cambodia Koh Rong, 2x British passport holders and 2x dogs (dogs have correct documents). My question is, can I get a 3 month single entry tourist visa at the border, or do I need to apply in advance online? I tried to apply online and it wouldn't allow me.. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you ☺️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about obtaining a 3-month single entry tourist visa at the Thai border after arriving from Cambodia with two British passports and two dogs. Responses clarify that no such visa exists, and the best option is to enter Thailand visa-exempt for 30 days, which can be extended by 30 days at an immigration office in Thailand. Users also suggest visiting a Thai consulate in Cambodia for a 60-day tourist visa as an alternative.

Thai visa in PP is $40 or via an agent $60:

need show $1,000 in a bank account, good for 60 days, atkes 3-4 working days if in PP.

Visa EXEMPT at border is 30 for most passports, Russians and a few others get 90 days

I've gone in an out of all Thai/Cambodian land borders< Keep the dogs in ur car and no one will know> NEVER has anyone looked in my car

Hat lek ( Koh Kong) isa very easy border.

There is no such thing as 3 month tourist visa. And the only way to get a 60 day tourist visa is by going to the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh. So your most likely option is to enter Thailand by land and be stamped in visa exempt for 30 days only. That can be extended by 30 days in Thailand for 1900 baht each. The dogs may present some issues at the Cambodian border, but assume you have papers for them already.

As you are in Cambodia you have 2 options

1 visit a Thai consulate in Cambodia and apply for a 60 day tourist visa

2 enter Thailand visa exempt and get stamped in for 30 days

Both can be extended at an immigration office inside Thailand by 30 days

Thank you so much! So I can come in for 30 days, and apply for a 60 day tourist visa while in the country? Is the process pretty simple? And do you know the cost of applying for 60 days? Thank you πŸ™‚

you can only apply for a tourist visa outside of Thailand so if you want one get it while you're in Cambodia

you cannot apply for a tourist visa in country.

You can enter visa exempt and then extend 1 time for 30 days only.

As long as your passport qualifies.

All extensions are 1900baht
