Hello everyone,

Is there any age limit for a child to get a Non-O visa following a working mom with a Non-B visa?

My son will turn 20 yo in October, visa renewal in August.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general age limit for a child to obtain a Non-O visa as a dependent is 20 years. However, special circumstances may apply for disabled children. In this case, the individual's son, who is a non-verbal disabled person, may have eligibility for a Non-O visa due to his incapacitated status as documented by a court ruling.

I didn't mention, that my son is a disabled person (non-verbal with ASD), I'm his only legal guardian - have a Court Ruling, saying he's " totally incapacitated due to profound intellectual disability". (Courl ruling from Poland, translated to English)

In this case, will he get the visa?

at the very least you will need his medical records, and then confirmation by a Thai medical doctor that he is disabled and can not take care of himself.

Thanks. I was also thinking, they may proceed his visa as always, since his 20th birthday is in October, but visa renewal in August. Depends on a good will of the immigration officer ๐Ÿ˜‰

I believe 20 is the limit for a child to get a dependent visa.
