TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a Non-O child dependent visa in Thailand, it's important to know whether the child is Thai or non-Thai. For non-Thai children, parents often opt for this visa to prevent issues like overstay fines (children up to 15 years old are exempt from fines and blacklisting until age 18). For specific requirements, itโs best to visit the local Immigration Office for the area of residence, as they can provide the most accurate and detailed requirements.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
The guessing starts again, but okay it is clear you want your non Thai child to have a visa. Children till 15 years of age are not fined for overstay and till 18 years of age not black listed, some parents just take this option. But if you really like the visa for your child, visit the Immigration Office that serves the area where you reside and ask the hand out with requirements. This goes faster than me typing the requirements of more than 70 offices nationwide.

My advice, go back, demand the list, if they start with google again, call 1178 and make an official complaint while sitting on the desk.

I would ask show me the page with correct information about the requirements from your office.
yeeeeppp. I went there to extend my child's exemption of stay for another 30 days to have enough time to gather the documents needed and have the time allowance needed to apply the non O visa inside thailand. So after doing the extension, i asked about requirements, tht happened.

So you went to an Immigration Office, and the front desk told you to go to an Immigration counter? Than there you were told to visit the head office and he advised Google? Are you sure it was an Immigration Office, with Immigration Officers inside? And all the staff had this logo on their shirts and this logo was hanging on the walls:
i went there. The front desk told me to go to the immigration counter. The counter told me to ask their office head. The office head said i should just search on Google. I cant say anything more to them. So i just said okay and left. Cant find anything useful and recent on Google. So, asking in this group.

Next question is (I believe) is Thai or non-thai child
So you're looking for a "visa" solution for your child.
That's now beyond my knowledge (I'm sure more knowledgeable people will chip in soon) except :- children cannot/do not get fined etc for staying/overstaying any visa entry.

It is the other way around. I, the parent, have the extension of stay based on teaching work. I want to give Non O for my child
- so you're looking at a non-0 (Guardian) visa for which, presuming your child is attending full-time school in Thailand (I believe) you need to show a min' bank balance 500k เธ plus paperwork from the school verifying enrollment/ attendance.
