TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the process of converting a Non-B Visa to a Non-O Child Dependent Visa in Thailand. Community members provide insights that while directly switching Visa types may be challenging, obtaining an extension based on having a dependent child is possible if financial requirements are met, which includes needing at least 400,000 baht.

Visa to visa I dont think so but getting an extension based on a dependant child should be possible provided you meet the financial requirements , etc.

I am doing a switch from Non O retirment to a Non O volunteer as I have been recruited by an outfit here that is backed by and recognized by government here. They switch retirement to marriage easy enough. So cannot think they would do what you asked. Yes depends on office and who you talk with as will all immigration issues... but should work out.
