TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether it is possible to obtain a Non-O visa for their child while holding an ED visa, and asks for guidance on the process. Responses from the community suggest considering the child's current visa situation, age, and nationality, with one comment advising that children under 15 may avoid fines for overstaying.

another thing to consider is; depending on the age of the child just let them stamp in and overstay. :O Children under 15 can't get fined for overstay and children under 18 can't be banned. Let them overstay until they go to school here and get their own ED visa.
As you have now the Extension of Stay based on study on the University, your child could apply or the Non Immigrant o visa based on being your dependent. Check the website of the Thai Consulate in Korea for the requirements.
