Good Evening 😊

I'm in need of advice and would be very grateful πŸ™ to anyone that's been through a similar situation.

Myself and 2 half Thai children will be arriving in Thailand from South Africa on the 20th April with a non immigrant O visa based on marriage.

My eldest son from previous marriage so not Thai will join us next year he will be 20 years old by then.

So my question is what kind of visa can I apply for for him as he will also be staying with me. His not able to work his special needs.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated πŸ™

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
A resident with a non-immigrant O visa seeks advice on what visa to apply for their special needs son, who will be 20 years old upon arriving in Thailand. The general rule notes that at 20, he would typically be subject to standard visa options like tourist or visa-exempt entry, though there might be exceptions due to his special needs. It's recommended to consult the Thai embassy or immigration officials for specific guidance.

I would ask the embassy or an immigration official about this. There might be inclusions for special needs but the general rule is 20 years old which it appears that you're aware of. Beste wense.
