Good morning!

I have an extension (1st extension for 2 years) of my Non B multiple entry done in Thailand and valid until feb 2023.

I came back to France during last summer and I renewed my passport there as it was full. Before going to France, I have asked my company if there will be no problem to « transfer » my visa to the new passport and they said to me ok. But i took pictures of the pages of my old passport to be sure, because in France they keep the old passport.

You start to understand what happened… the thai immigration needs the old one to « transfer » the visa…so when I arrived in Thailand at the airport, even If I shew them the pictures, they canceled my visa, stamped me a tourist visa and now I have to go abroad and to do again all the process 🤦‍♀️

Do you know if there is a way to retrieve my visa without go abroad etc, please?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user discusses their experience of having their Non B visa canceled upon re-entering Thailand after renewing their passport. They inquire about the possibility of retrieving their visa without having to travel abroad again, despite having confirmation from their employer about the transfer process.

I think you lost that visa/extension but go to the immigration office that issued it along with a representative from your employer and see if there's anything they can do.

Worst case you start all over from square one..
