Hi everyone, I have a new passport and already transfer my non o to my new passport but I did not transfer the re entry permit. I am now overseas and forgotten to bring my old passport with me. Will the system have a record of my re entry permit? I only have my new passport with me now with my non O visa. Thank you so much for your help ππ»ππ»ππ»
TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat transferred their NON-O visa to a new passport but forgot to transfer the re-entry permit. They currently do not have their old passport while overseas and are unsure if the re-entry permit is still valid for re-entry into Thailand. Responses suggest checking with passport control, the possibility of entering on a visa-exempt basis, and various options for retrieving the old passport, including having it delivered or mailed back. Ultimately, the individual managed to return to Thailand with a tourist visa, allowing them to keep their extension valid, indicating their situation was resolved.
