Is there a time limit to activate a DTV Visa after approval?
I have a question: once your DTV Visa is approved do you have a limited time to go to Thailand to activate it? I heard it is 3 months but it not stated on the Visa which I got approved in Indonesia.

DTV is active the day it’s approved, if you get approved and don’t go to Thailand until a year after your visa is approved you will have 4 years left on the visa.

No. Once it is issued, free to use it whenever within its 5 year validity. The three months you are confusing it with here is what embassies ask not exceeding to apply for before your „planned“ trip. But does not matter once you have it.

Sure thing. So no such things as activating a visa. Once it is issued it is „active“ for 5 years. What you will sort of activate is your permitted stay in the country: with every border crossing into Thailand with a DTV visa, you activate (get stamped into your passport) a permitted stay of 180 days.
