Hi all. Do you need a return ticket to apply for a multi entry tourist visa from the Thai consulate in London. On thier website it says that it only needs a copy of your ticket going out but I've heard conflicting reports. Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
You only need to provide a photocopy of your flight ticket to Thailand when applying for a multi-entry tourist visa at the Thai consulate in London. There have been reports indicating that no return ticket or onward travel documentation is required.

The thai consulate in london only lists that they require "A photocopy of the confirmed air ticket to Thailand". That's just the flight TO thailand, not any onward travel or anything.

Other thai consulates require multiple confirmed air tickets in and out of the country :O

The London Embassy have never asked me to see any air ticket details. I have been flying to Thailand at least twice a year for the past several years.

Just buy cheap onward travel or even a return isnt much more than 1 way. You can always junk them.

The London one doesn't mention that, but you never know.
