Is the British Embassy still providing extension letters for education visa holders in Thailand?
Hi. I am on education visa which expires on 16th May. Is the British Embassy still providing letters to extend my stay?
Answer summary
The British Embassy is currently not providing letters to extend education visas. There is an ongoing amnesty for visa expiration valid until April 30th, but there is uncertainty about procedures post-May 1st. It is advisable to wait until closer to May 10th for potential updates on extension programs.

No, they are not, and the amnesty is valid until April 30th. We do not know what would happen come May 1st. I recommend waiting until around May 10th, and seeing what other programs may exist.
