Hi guys, just started process of ed visa, I have 45 days remaining on via exempt and my question is (due to seeing someone mention about this previously) should the process take 60 days as sometimes it can, is there a way of extending until the ed visa has been completed? School said the 7 day extension after 30 day extension is not possible as they can't change this type of visa into a ed visa. School has started process today, fees paid etc. School seems to be under the impression if I don't get it in time I will need to leave and restamp in under another visa exempt stamp, but I would assume immigration has a system in place for such instances?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently processing an education visa and has 45 days remaining on their visa-exempt status. They are concerned about whether the education visa process, which may take up to 60 days, could lead to leaving Thailand before it is finalized. Several comments clarify that the user has exhausted all extension options, and if their visa expires, they will need to exit and re-enter Thailand on a new visa-exempt stamp.
