Dear Thai advice, for the 60 day visa on entry. Do I need to show accommodation booking for whole 60 days or will they allow initially 30 days booking first?

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a 60-day visa exemption on arrival in Thailand, it is generally not necessary to show accommodation bookings for the entire duration. Most travelers report that having a booking for the initial stay (e.g., 30 days) is usually sufficient, and immigration officials are unlikely to ask for detailed accommodation plans. However, it’s advisable to ensure your passport is stamped correctly upon entry to avoid issues later.
Make sure immigration stamps Yr passport. During one visit they overlooked/forgot? to stamp mine and when I returned to the airport to go back to the uk, they called me in and started asking all sorts of questions. Luckily my Thai girlfriend was there to verify and translate where necessary. I still had 2 days left on my original allowance so all got sorted in the end
they once asked me how long but now they just stamp 60 it seems. I came back very recently no visa just VOA exemption UK passport and got 60. So did the other half.
