What is the current duration of the visa exemption for Australians arriving in Thailand, and is it still 60 days?
Hi all,
For Aussies, has the visa on arrival converted back to 30 days or still 60?
Arriving on the 22 nd June?
Thanks Mate.

Answer summary
As of June 2026, Australians can still receive a 60-day visa exemption when arriving in Thailand. There have been no recent changes reported, and travelers are receiving 60-day stamps upon entry. This contrasts with the visa on arrival, which remains at 15 days.

I ask the immigration officer at the border for a 60 day Visa and the only stamp 30 a digital arrival card I put the return flight on 30th of June and then I was gonna apply for an extension 30 day extension but what can you do? Can’t argue with immigration.

Get your terminology right. You mean Visa Exempt because Visa on arrival is 15 days and costs 2000B.
